Dream Takes Root
Our journey began at 3 AM in a Belgian dance club where a daring young man decided to cross the dancefloor and kiss the girl he was staring at without even asking her name. He didn’t know at the time that she had planned to move to Nicaragua six months later and that what was supposed to be a one-night stand would turn into a lifetime adventure. This girl, who once worked tirelessly as an international tax manager for big corporations, led him to the lush jungles of Nicaragua, where they found the perfect canvas to create a life they had not planned.
Building a Sanctuary
Fast forward through seizing opportunities and owning a few businesses, including a bar restaurant, a boutique hotel, a cryptocurrency writing agency, and a design and architecture studio, and here we were, more than ten years later, with a kid and two labradors wondering how the original dream of living by the beach in a simple hut, spending our days writing and taking pictures, had somehow evaporated.
We then decided to embark on this adventure and envisioned more than just a resort; we wanted to build a community of individuals who value authenticity, curiosity, creativity, open-mindedness and the profound joy of being in nature and embracing its wilderness. We meticulously designed each aspect of our sanctuary to reflect these values, incorporating art, music, and the jungle environment into every corner. Our goal is to create a space where guests and residents can feel at home, and connect with others who share their passion for life.
